For those who missed it: the psl

Nothing original here but here is how you can get your beloved pumpkin spice latte at home without the whopping 50g of sugar that is in the one from Starbucks! This recipe is versatile - you can even have it with decaf or “herbal coffee” for a treat or a comforting drink before bed. This one has marshmallows (at 6am) because that happens sometimes for me.

Ingredients

  • 1T pumpkin puree (not canned pumpkin pie - just 100% pumpkin)

  • 1T fat: MCT oil, coconut butter, grass-fed butter or ghee

  • ~1/4c milk or plant-based milk (I use Ripple brand pea milk)

  • 1/2-1c hot liquid (coffee, herbal coffee such as Dandyblend or Rasa Koffee, black tea)

  • 1-2t date syrup, honey, maple syrup or a couple drops of stevia

  • ~1t pumpkin pie spice

  • opt. 1T grass-fed collagen (nutritional bonus and makes it creamier!)

  • opt. homemade or store bought marshmallows.

Directions

1) Blend or use a frother
